Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 13, 2026

Futari ("we", "us", "our") is a wedding planning app built for couples. We believe your wedding plans are personal, and we treat your data with care. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.

1. What We Collect

We collect only what is needed to make the app work for you and your partner.

2. How We Use Your Data

3. Partner Sharing

When you link with a partner using an invite code, both of you share the same wedding data: tasks, budget, guests, vendors, timeline, and album. Each partner can view and edit shared content. This is the core purpose of the app.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Futari:

We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party advertising. We do not share your personal information with data brokers.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Google Cloud (via Firebase) with encryption in transit and at rest. Local data on your device is stored using standard iOS mechanisms (UserDefaults and app sandbox). We follow industry-standard security practices, but no system is perfectly secure.

6. Your Rights and Choices

7. Children's Privacy

Futari is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data from our servers within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained longer.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. The effective date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
